Description

The HYDRANAUTICS 8040 RO Membrane CPA-3 provides exceptional performance in reverse osmosis (RO) systems. It is ideal for water purification and desalination applications. With a permeate flow of 11,000 gallons per day (41.6 m³/d) and a high salt rejection rate of 99.7%, this membrane ensures efficient filtration. Moreover, its spiral-wound composite polyamide design offers durability, making it a reliable choice for long-term use.

In terms of operation, the HYDRANAUTICS 8040 RO Membrane excels under various conditions. For example, it operates effectively at 225 psi of applied pressure, handling a 1500 PPM NaCl solution. Additionally, the membrane can tolerate temperatures up to 77°F (25°C) while supporting up to 600 psi maximum pressure. It also withstands feedwater turbidity of up to 1.0 NTU. Therefore, it delivers stable and accurate filtration.

Thanks to its wide pH range of 2-10.8 for continuous use, the membrane adapts to different water conditions. For cleaning, the pH range extends to 1-12.5. The 31-mil feed spacer ensures excellent flow, while the membrane’s active area of 400 ft² optimizes efficiency. Consequently, it provides superior performance and minimal maintenance.
